Seeking Advice In a Crisis
I recently found out about a friend who was hiding a secret that was a big secret.
I allowed myself to go through the range of emotions; surprise, betrayal, sympathy, back to betrayal, than to understanding, shrug it off, denial, disbelief, anger, surprised again. Acceptance. Unconditional love. Wow the Universe really handed me a shiny little lesson wrapped in a pretty bow. Don’t we all have a past? Who am I to judge? And yet my thinking-mind and my heart-thinking continue to wrestle with each other as I observe myself exploring and stretching each aspect of the situation.
I recently introduced three decks, one for maidens, mothers and crones. I went to the Wisdom of the Crone for this question as I felt it was a whopper and I needed the wisdom of the women who have experienced all the richness of life (although some of my thinking admittedly was juvenile so I considered the maiden deck too – hey I can admit that here can’t I?)…
Here is the card I pulled:
Compassion
When we have compassion
for ourselves,
empathy flows as if
from a wellspring.
The ability to think with
our hearts and feel with
our minds allows us
to truly walk in
another’s shoes.
As a wise woman once said,
“We can do no great things,
only small things with
great love.”
Give unconditionally.
Holy smokes. The richness of the human journey continues to captivate me. Walk in beauty.
Find Your Inner Grandmother
Look at her pot of wisdom. She holds it all. She looks at you – and you know. Of course you know! You knew it all the time and just had to take the time to remember.
To look into her face is to see your wisdom reflected in it. If only a reminder, she’ll help you remember. She says “What do YOU think?” while she gives you the wrinkly stare-down. (insert stare-down growl here)
Reach into your own pot of wisdom and find YOUR answers. Our newest addition to Debbie Berrow’s Bell Pine Art Farm Sculptures.
Also, here is a new pic I took today of “Self Blessing”, she looks like a princess among the baby Roman Chamomile and English Thyme.

There are certain things that you find that end up being more than a gift or trinket. These individually hand made sculptures by Debbie Berrow are one of those things. Use on altars, in gardens or wherever you would like to create sacred space. VIEW ENTIRE COLLECTION.
The Divine at Work, a Letter from Medicine Crow Woman
Below is a letter received today from Native American Elder Medicine Crow Woman that I wanted to share; an illustration of the magic of wondering, and the magic of the phrase “Who Knows?”:
THE MASK
Once upon a time, not so long ago, in a land not so far away, a magical mystery began to unfold. As an invited guest to the lovely home of wonderful Wendy, I decided to browse the website for her business, Garden Plum, before going to her gathering. In navigating the site, it was interesting to see the wide variety of merchandise she featured at her shop. When I opened the link for the page titled “Masks”, there was a fantastic photo display of masks this artist had created. I was immediately drawn to one sculpture in particular named “Crow Mask”. It is the face of a profoundly spiritual man with an image of a crow head embossed upon his forehead. Crow Medicine.
The connection I immediately felt to the spirit of this beautiful creation was more than a little unnerving. I thought the artist and I must surely have shared some form of spiritual connectedness for her sculpture to touch me so deeply at first sight. My sense of anticipation for the upcoming opportunity to touch that mask grew each day. The price shown for the mask made it something beyond what I typically invested for a personal indulgence, but I mused “who knows? Maybe it will be possible”.
The day of the gathering finally arrived, and I was so excited to meet with this loving group of people. I arrived at Wendy’s a little early with the secret anticipation of an opportunity to see and perhaps touch the mask. Imagine my disappointment when told the masks were not in inventory, but available to be ordered through Wen. When I went into her sweet little shop, I could understand that she certainly couldn’t carry everything shown on her site, and felt that the mask not being there was a sign for me to be grateful for having seen a picture of it. The impact was there. The awakening of some deep primal connection to the spirit of the crow was a gift many people never received.
Many years ago, since the time I was given my Spirit Name, Medicine Crow Woman, there have been innumerable events that have affirmed my Elders visions of my purpose here in this world, at this time. Creator gave them insights when they named me, insights being revealed to me in little, manageable segments. The spirit connection revealed to me at this time and through this mask has been profound.
The gathering at Wendy’s was, of course, a loving experience with these people who are connected through their light work, and by their sharing with others in their lives. I felt so very privileged to have been included in this Circle. My life’s purpose brings such magnificent rewards, and so many blessings.
Time went by, as it always does without our individual help, and we scheduled a Sacred Healing Circle to be held again at Wendy’s. I looked forward so much to this gathering with this group of light beings. The Sacred Circles are such an important part of my life, and help me to understand more about the connectedness we all have to each other and to all life in general. This particular Circle feels like a reward to me! It’s All about Love.
I arrived early, to set up for the Circle. In the moving about of the chairs, I was aware of a quilt-wrapped bundle next to one of the display cabinets, but it wasn’t anything I needed to move, so I just left it in its’ place. We gathered in the Circle and opened the Ceremony to Spirit. We passed the talking feather during the Ceremony with each participant sharing, and following the first round, I felt the calling to pass it again for a second round. Someone must have something else to share! Sometimes, when people come to their first Circle, they get more comfortable with speaking from the heart after they hear others share their heartfelt offerings. As the Circle Connector, it is important for me to follow my guides and remain open to the Spirit of the Circle.
When the feather was passed to Wendy, she became very animated and said “I almost forgot”! She got up and walked somewhere behind me, but I was not focused on her actions or whereabouts. I was still centered on the love in this Circle, and was totally surprised when she placed the quilt wrapped bundle on my lap. It was heavy! I couldn’t imagine what could possible be in it, or why she was giving it to me to hold.
I was shivering from the energy.
She told me to open it, and as I carefully unwrapped it, I was overcome with emotions and covered in goose-bumps. It contained the Mask! The Crow Mask! How could that be? She said it was for me! For me? Oh no, surely not, I thought. But she said, “Yes, for you”.
Wendy then explained that she had ordered it so I could see and touch it, but during the shipping, it had been broken into many pieces. She had contacted Mary Everson, the artist, and was given permission to reconstruct it as well as possible, and to gift it to me. Me, Medicine Crow Woman! Imagine such an act of love. Wendy and her husband, Steve, had stayed up well into the wee hours to put it back together! Absolutely overwhelming, this loving gift of all those involved. The Crow Spirit was profoundly present during the reconstruction of this shattered art creation. The Mask now has character lines unique unto itself. There will never be another just like this one, exactly like each of us as spirits in human form! I am so blessed to have been here at this time, and to be able to share these wondrous experiences with all those in Circles. This story and mask have been shared with many, many people who are always overwhelmed by the Spirit shared.
Blessings and thanks to Wendy, Steve, and of course to Mary Everson, the spiritually gifted artist who created this powerful image of Spirit in the form of Crow Mask. I am changed as a person, and have grown exponentially as a Spirit.
Thank you for your Love and Prayers. I am grateful. Ah hau!

How Could I Forget to Mention St. John’s Wort Flower Essence?
Oh my goodness, St. John’s Wort flower essence is one of the keys to the kingdom! I cannot believe I have not told you about it after years of highlighting different flower essences. This is one of THE FIRST flower essences that really resonated with my soul when I was studying them years ago.
Saint Johns Wort flower essence has marvelous restorative powers; it provides protection and strength when the soul is in an overly expanded state. While it is generally indicated for those who are oversensitive to light, it can also be helpful for those deprived of light, such as Seasonal Affective Disorder.
At its deepest level of transformation, St. Johns Wort helps the soul to circulate light through the body and into the Earth. Rather than experiencing light as an external and merely physical reality, light works within the Self as a spiritual force which can illumine and anchor the consciousness.
The soul needs light. We need Love. Acceptance. Understanding.
These are the gifts of St. John’s Wort Flower Essence.
The Happiness Goblet

I just wanted to share this cheerful combination of stones that make for a beautiful presentation and set the tone in the room. If you want to create a space of peace, crystals and stones are an essential part of your energetic creation!
I use these stones under the reiki table, and these stones represent:
Citrine: Solar Plexus Chakra, place of power, shining like the sun
Carnelian: Root Chakra, sexual prowess and connection to the earth
Rose Quartz: Heart Chakra (placed with a green stone too as the heart chakra is green), self love and connecting to the heart.
When the three are combined, held in the hand, at the heart, or set in a glass goblet, they vibrate beauty and serenity. They heal.
Have a great weekend, wishing you

Friday Pause: Turn and Look in. Breath In, Breath Out. “Thank you.”

The night wind whispered her instructions: Talk to the moon. Flow with her, to her. Get to know her. Align yourself with her rhythms.

May you always have butterflies. Dare to Dream Big.

Whatever feeds your spirits,
Makes your heart sing,
Fuels your passion,
Do it.
Dance your dreams woman!
‘Tis Always the Season

Abraham Hicks:
“I’m going to resonate with love. I’m going to love unconditionally. I’m going to love them whether they love me or not.
I’m going to stay in vibrational alignment with who I am. I’m going to see them as well, even when they are sick. Otherwise, I cannot heal. I’m going to see them as whole, even when they are fragmented. Otherwise, I cannot be in harmony with who I am.
I’m going to love them, because loving them is who I am. I’m not going to let them dissuade me from who I am and then blame them for not being who I am.
I am going to teach alignment. I am going to teach Source. I am going to teach wellbeing. I am going to teach love. I am going to teach
*unconditional love.* I am going to love across the board.
I’m going to find things to love consistently, so that the Universe delivers to me mostly things to love. It’s gonna be a really odd day when I feel like condemning, and then it is only going to be temporary. Because my condemnation only makes me want to reach for the part that I love more…
I’m going to focus myself into alignment with that which is love. I’m going to focus myself into alignment with that which is Source. And I’m going to stand in that vortex of wellbeing and I’m going to love every single one of them for the EXPANSION they’ve caused in me, for the caring that they have for me, for the desire that they hold.
I’m going to hold myself in vibrational alignment with all they have become, knowing that in time they will come into alignment with who they have become.”

How Can I NOT Take What She Did Personally? It Hurt So Much!
Here’s an Abraham Hicks quote I received this morning:
“What you want is freedom. That freedom you are seeking is freedom from resistance. You will never find the freedom that you seek by controlling the behavior of others.
You’ll only find it when the behavior of others becomes a non-issue. Because you are able to focus your mind in ways that allow your connection, and give you that feeling of well being.
We’re not giving you this guidance so that you can tune up your vibration to get your relatives to do what you want them to do and get what you want.
We’re trying to get you to tune up your vibration so that you can understand that the serenity you seek on the mountain is not about having it in the family, it’s about your vibrational alignment.
And there are hundreds of thousands of spots on this planet that would give you that feeling that you can go to any day and the Universe will orchestrate so you can go there when others are not there.
In other words, you are zigging and zagging in this world. You’ll get what you want whether you own the property or not, you see.
But the feeling of ownership, the feeling of guarding or protecting, the
feeling of making others come into agreement before I can get what I want, that will render you powerless every single time because you will never get them to agree.”
