How Can I NOT Take What She Did Personally? It Hurt So Much!

wendyHere’s an Abraham Hicks quote I received this morning:

“What you want is freedom. That freedom you are seeking is freedom from resistance. You will never find the freedom that you seek by controlling the behavior of others.

You’ll only find it when the behavior of others becomes a non-issue. Because you are able to focus your mind in ways that allow your connection, and give you that feeling of well being.

We’re not giving you this guidance so that you can tune up your vibration to get your relatives to do what you want them to do and get what you want.

We’re trying to get you to tune up your vibration so that you can understand that the serenity you seek on the mountain is not about having it in the family, it’s about your vibrational alignment.

And there are hundreds of thousands of spots on this planet that would give you that feeling that you can go to any day and the Universe will orchestrate so you can go there when others are not there.

In other words, you are zigging and zagging in this world. You’ll get what you want whether you own the property or not, you see.

But the feeling of ownership, the feeling of guarding or protecting, the
feeling of making others come into agreement before I can get what I want, that will render you powerless every single time because you will never get them to agree.”

The Wisdom of Whales

Self-acceptance is inherent in all animals and can be best understood by observing nature. At Puerto Madryn in Argentina, for example, dozens of right whales come to breed in the calm waters surrounding the Valdes Peninsula. It is amazing to get close to such enormous reatures. They are the biggest animals in the world and surely among the most powerful, yet all they do is radiate love. It’s incredible. It’s all you can feel. They are pure peace, pure love, and yet they are so big. They look at you lazily through the shimmering water as if you’re some rare breed of insect, and then down they go again.

The whales come with their babies, and those babies drink two thousand liters of milk a day. So poor Mom spends most of her time nursing. All the baby wants to do is feed – he’d be happy to drink ten thousand liters of milk a day. When she gets tired of feeding him, she rolls over onto her back so he can’t reach her nipples. The baby starts slapping Mom with his tail in an attempt to make her roll over. It’s a relatively powerful thing to have a baby whale slapping you with its tail, but Mom just lies there in perfect peace. She lets him have his little temper tantrum and continues to rest, even when he’s getting annoyed. She doesn’t judge herself; she doesn’t think, I shouldn’t get tired so easily. I’m not giving enough to my children, poor things. Animals never judge themselves. To them everything is perfect.

When the mother has rested, she teaches the baby how to jump out of the water. When Mom jumps, it’s magnificent. It’s poetry in motion. When the baby tries to copy, he’s a disaster! He does big belly flops and isn’t impressive at all. But his mother doesn’t say,”Oh my God, you’re not doing it properly! You’re embarrassing me in front of the other whales! I mustn’t be a very good teacher.” No. She just keeps leaping, and he keeps practicing, until they are in perfect union, perfect synchrony.

Nature doesn’t judge. It’s pure love, pure being, perfectly in the moment because it’s not thinking all the time. Such is the nature of enlightenment.

Lady in Lavender

Our body powders are pretty, and secretly packed with herbal power! Made with Bentonite Clay, this clay is said to draw toxins out of the skin. As opposed to talcum powder (a mineral which contains asbestos!) or arrowroot powder (a demulcent or ’sealer’ to the skin!), Bentonite Clay is a secret weapon among herbalists. It is made from volcanic ash and completely natural.

This powder keeps the body cool, dry and smelling good especially in the humid summer. But don’t be fooled. Beyond the pretty face of this new product is your top choice for deodorant alternatives with health benefits. This powder contains Arnica. Arnica is said to relieve pain and is used in Homeopathy as well as in gels. It also contains white sage, which has energetic clearing properties. Imagine a powder as pretty as this with such meaning behind it. Order it on-line or come check it out at the Weare Farmers’ Market on Fridays.

We Are One! Its Official.

We are 1 Weare NH
Green Greetings! I haven’t blogged in a while as the harvest season is upon us and my Farmers’ Market is overflowing with food and a sense of community! Which brings me to the point of my blog post. I can feel the Oneness. In between the grumble and complaint, after the body ache or the spilled milk, the Oneness is really becoming apparent these past few months.

My final confirmation beautifully and blatantly pulled up in my driveway last week (pic above). What a confirmation! We Are One! (and I live in Weare, We-are).

This is the way to Peace, to see yourself in others. To know that what one is experiencing, you may have already experienced, may experience in the future, or could be experiencing simultaneously. Does it seem easier to step into someone else’s shoes these days? To recognize others’ perspectives? Is it more often that you have compassion and understanding than not? Do you judge less? Its not hard to feel the Oneness, its really quite simple. I continue to hold that prayer in my heart.

It’s Good to Spill Your Tea! Adventures in Chamomile

chamomile tea
I was just pouring myself a cup of Chamomile tea. It was a big mug. I poured it a little too close to the top so when i took it off the counter it sloshed onto my kitchen cupboard and floor. Of course my immediate thought was “SHOOT!” followed by a dismissal and then reversal in thinking!

“Hm! I just disinfected my cupboard and floor, I just gave my floor a natural ibuprofen (advil). I just put a lovely smell here and there. I just killed bacteria, conjunctivitis, germs – and you can bet the spiders won’t like it! I just repelled the mice. I just gave my floor a natural anti-inflammatory! Just by the power of this little white and yellow flower.”

Follow Up the Day after:
Yesterday, I awoke with a sinus headache, poured myself a cup of chamomile tea, and the headache was gone within the hour, and even more impressively, the headache didn’t come back all day, at night, or even this morning.

Chamomile is extremely popular in European medicine. It is given for nearly every minor complaint: fever, indigestion, dyspepsia, tension, nervousness, sleeplessness, and pain. A poultice can be made and laid over the eye in cases of infection and conjuctivitis. They are well suited to a wide variety of simple problems. more especially, Chamomile is suited to the problems of babies: teething, colic, whining, etc. In Germany, Chamomile is an indispensable item in the medicine cabinet of many others.

Funny Friday: Someone Throw Me a Rope!

Someone throw me a line
This occured when I tossed the dog’s leash out the door and heard a ‘ka-chink’ and a curiosity came over me. I had leashed an angel. Or caught an angel. Or she threw me a rope. I’ll leave the editorials up to you. In any case, its very sweet no matter which way I interpret… oh you ticklish Friday!

Have a great weekend and hang loose with all this fresh changing energy!

A Sense of Family Outside of your Immediate One: God, Angels…Family. Forget-Me-Not Flower Essence

forget me not flower essence
Forget-Me-Not is pictured here in the making earlier this week.

It is an important essence to consider following the initial stage of grief after the death of a loved one, and can be very helpful for those who have never fully resolved their feelings of isolation and abandonment following the loss of an important family member or friend during childhood.

Forget-Me-Not can also be used by expectant parents who wish to establish a conscious link with the soul seeking to be incarnated through them.

Forget-Me-Not can be beneficial when one wishes to understand the deeper, karmic soul connection which inspires or challenges any current relationship. In all these instances, Forget Me Not guides us toward greater love for the human family, and deepens our understanding of how vast and deep it exists for us.

It is just as it says, “forget not” the helpers, guides, and spiritual beings. Forget not that every soul in your life is there for a reason. And know that souls don’t go far when they pass, that etheric existences are real. This flower essences helps establish and re-establish this knowing and ability to sense a larger human family.

All Is Well! Please Welcome New Artist Laura Koniver, MD

all is well
Today we are expecting an unusual 90+ day, the sun is shining, there is a nice breeze. What will the day bring? Will I go into it with fear, with exhaustion, with a positive outlook? By believing the dreary news? What am I expecting? When All is Well, we expect the best. And when we expect the best, that is what we receive.

Laura’s prints remind us All is Well… did you forget? It can be easy to forget living in a chaotic world environment. This wonderful brightly colored print helps to consciously invoke the positive. All IS well. Even the blessings in disguise. Say it to yourself every morning, every evening. This would be beautiful in a doctor’s office or in an entry way to a home where you can invoke positive energy.

A great feng shui print for your earth corner or your mentor corner!

Here is another fantastic blue moon creation of Laura’s, great for your feng shui water corner or for a moon altar.

Welcome Laura, and thank you for bringing your positive light to the garden plum gallery!

Near-Death Experience Story of Mellen-Thomas Benedict
Mellen-Thomas Benedict speaks:

In 1982 I died from terminal cancer. The condition I had was inoperable, and any kind of chemotherapy they could give me would just have made me more of a vegetable. I was given six to eight months to live.

I had been an information freak in the 1970s, and I had become increasingly despondent over the nuclear crisis, the ecology crisis, and so forth. So, since I did not have a spiritual basis, I began to believe that nature had made a mistake and that we were probably a cancerous organism on the planet. I saw no way that we could get out from all the problems we had created for ourselves and the planet. I perceived all humans as cancer—and that is what I got.

That is what killed me. Be careful what your world view is. It can feed back on you, especially if it is a negative world view. I had a seriously negative one. That is what led me into my death. I tried all sorts of alternative healing methods, but nothing helped.
