Do You Know the Latin Word for Hops?

Hops, the main ingredient in Beer, bears this latin name:

“Humulus lupulus

If you say this five times fast, it will induce a drunken state. Thanks for the tickle, you silly Latins (am I one of those?).

Speak From Your Feminine Wisdom

Communicating with Compassion
These days, life is fast. Life is rushed. In my humble opinion, in creating computers and on-line abilities, it has made us want to get that much more done in that much less time. How many times have you received an e-mail and thought “She’s in a bad mood!”

Communicating with Compassion is a truly remarkable gift to have. It allows love to flow among us despite what goes on in the outside world. So many times we are tired, rushed, or in a negative space (especially when we watch the news). A little compassoin and hope spans miles in the face of mankind.

Calendula Flower Essence is like bringing Mother Mary Energy right into your room, into your home, into your life. What would SHE say? Enjoy…

Happy Sadie Hawkins Day!

An American Folktale
On February 29th, each Leap Year…

Sadie Hawkins was “the homeliest gal in the hills” who grew tired of waiting for the fellows to come a courtin’. Her father, Hekzebiah Hawkins, a prominent resident of Dogpatch, was even more worried about Sadie living at home for the rest of his life, so he decreed the first annual Sadie Hawkins Day.

Sadie Hawkins Day entailed a foot race in which unmarried boys were given a head start, followed by the release of hungry single gals who would pursue their dreams on foot. And whoever they caught had to marry them!

By the late 1930’s the event had swept the nation and had a life of its own. Life magazine reported over 200 colleges holding Sadie Hawkins Day events in 1939, only two years after its inception. It became a woman empowering rite at high schools and college campuses, long before the modern feminist movement gained prominence. The basis of Sadie Hawkins Day is that women and girls take the initiative in inviting the man or boy of their choice out on a date, typically to a dance attended by other bachelors and their aggressive dates.

Even today, there are Sadie Hawkins Dances tonight in which the girls will be the one choosing their dance partners. There was actually a TV dating show that many may recall. Checkout Wikipedia for more info.

My my, how times have changed.
Its fun to have fun… wishing everyone a lighthearted day!

Norm’s Message from the Eclipse

The Message from the Eclipse
” Rebirth of the Nation”

The whole nation is coming to a rebirth both those who are spiritual and others are going to see a beautiful, beautiful new way of life. Those who do not accept the rebirth of themselves are going to go nowhere. Accept the changes, make peace with the changes going on in your life and step into the new.

Be aware of any negativity so that you can consciously let it go.

During the eclipse I saw a beautiful brown, green, golden umber landscape that featured trees and marble mountains with snowcaps. There was a burnt orange sun with golden clouds floating through the sky.

This means that life is like a new canvas, and we are starting to rebuild on a solid foundation. We have a completely new landscape with which to work. The key is to just accept the strange things, the unexplained twists and turns in life, accept the gifts from the Universe, knowing that we are in a new era. Message intuited by Norman Moody, Spiritual Visionary.

Watching Someone Create a Tuff Life

car with licenseplate TUFFLIFE
I was behind this hot little car today - a Toyota Solara convertible. The license plate read “TUFFLIFE”, and I noticed something was wrong, I saw their gas cap was hanging open.

Wait for it… (giggle)… this picture is hysterically funny for those with a twisted sense of humor such as myself.

Its a really really interesting snapshot of someone Creating Their Own Reality. Its literal Poetry in Motion. In this day and age of manifesting our future and creating our own realities, I’m amused and slightly horrified that someone would label themselves with a tough life. Although the meaning of the plate could have been some form of gloating, the open lid was like a left hand waving at me “I’m irony over here!”

Sorry the pic didn’t come out clearer, my cell phone took a pretty good one as we were moving. Here’s wishing TUFFLIFE an easier road ahead.

Bring Your Puppy Energy Back Into Your Heart

Do you have a feeling of heaviness in your heart? Are you bored, tired, and can’t seem to find that enthusiastic energy you used to have?

Borage Flower Essence helps us gain back our young feelings of enthusiasm that have been thwarted by grief, death and dying experiences, mid-life crisis, menopause, and other life throes. Its no laughing matter, this thing called life.

As declared in the movie In the Land of Women with Meg Ryan, Carter says to Lucy: “Get ready for that world out there, its chaotic, its cruel and its never what you expect!”

If you are seeking to live the philosophy Life is Good, borrow the wisdom of borage with our Borage Flower Essence.

It is said that this essence brings back a buoyance to the soul which helps us to rise above, rather than sink into the weight of discouragement or depression. Look at Borage’s enthusiasm with those puppy fur hairs standing on end, exuding puppy dog energy.

Many people have used Borage Flower Essence successfully with their pets who seem to have lost their puppy dog zeal also. A few drops in your pet’s water will be their tails wagging again!

Its yet another wonderful gift from Mother Nature, bringing us back in balance.

Clutter = Indecision, My Pile of Indecision

wendy’s clutter
Hail 2008!
2008 is going to be great just as soon as I get through this.. pile of… shmoo…..

I want to share something I learned this past year about clutter - whether its unanswered emails, piles of to-do’s, laundry piled up in the basement, or an overstuffed closet - in most cases, these piles are a representation of INDECISION.

Before I ring the new year in, I am set to rigorously separate my Pile of Indecision into a various forms of action necessary to clear my clutter and clear my mind.

These piles are energetic distractions to getting to the things that matter (my blog for instance?). From a metaphysical standpoint, these piles of things waiting for my energy are blocking a flow of good energy, they are bad feng shui, and they’re simply depressing! At the root of this pile lies the culprit, indecision.

Keep smiling, keep laughing. And thanks for reading.
