Green Greetings! I haven’t blogged in a while as the harvest season is upon us and my Farmers’ Market is overflowing with food and a sense of community! Which brings me to the point of my blog post. I can feel the Oneness. In between the grumble and complaint, after the body ache or the spilled milk, the Oneness is really becoming apparent these past few months.
My final confirmation beautifully and blatantly pulled up in my driveway last week (pic above). What a confirmation! We Are One! (and I live in Weare, We-are).
This is the way to Peace, to see yourself in others. To know that what one is experiencing, you may have already experienced, may experience in the future, or could be experiencing simultaneously. Does it seem easier to step into someone else’s shoes these days? To recognize others’ perspectives? Is it more often that you have compassion and understanding than not? Do you judge less? Its not hard to feel the Oneness, its really quite simple. I continue to hold that prayer in my heart.

The Calistoga, Calif., couple seem to reflect a trend. With many Americans putting off routine doctor visits and self-medicating to save money, use of alternative treatments is on the rise — even though evidence is often lacking on their safety and effectiveness.
Climbing sales of herbal medicines have paralleled the tanking economy, according to an Associated Press review of recent data from market-watchers and retailers.

Flower Essences – Addressing Those Emotions We Like to Deny
What would you say if I told you your left foot keeps cramping because of an emotional issue with your mother? Or that the pain in your neck is because you have a “pain in the neck” person in your life? Or even that the hard cysts in your breasts are from a hardness in your life?

Phew! Was up at 4:30 this morning (thanks to Hogan) and decided to finish painting the kitchen. Here is a pic of the sage green (before it was a cross between drab gray and uncommitted tan). You can click the pic to see a larger view. Since we moved in March, we have weekend warriored to get the house ready for winter, especially in this kitchen-of-wind. So finally it is insulated and warm!
I painted because Garden Plum is having (I am having) a huge Open House Saturday December 6th from 11-2. It is going to be really fun! There will be $5 reiki treatments with several reiki masters available on hand. We will also have $1/minute massage by Cathy Clement (I am taking advantage of this one!). Bindy Johnson is brining her singing bowls and is also offering treatments at $5. Angie D’Anjou will be offering reiki treatments as well as a Holiday Angel Channeling that starts at 2pm. (Its $5 to attend the channeling). This Channeling will offer messages from the Angels – come with your specific questions!
Plus the store is bursting with new stuff! I will post pics soon… its better to come to the Open House as the store changes each day with new things like Mooncloths, Goddess in the Groove clay Mamma sculptures, and Carie’s wood sculptures.
Amethyst Wyldfyre is offering readings, and she is almost all booked up, just 2 or 3 slots left. Her readings are 15 minutes for $25 or 1/2 hour at $45. If you haven’t heard about Amethyst, she is an authentic Peruvian Shamanic Healer and her readings are very VERY good. Readings are the tip of the iceberg in terms of how she can help people.
OK … well back to the original meaning of my post… I would like to show you another farmhouse for sale in my town. In light of all the work we’ve done to the house to get it functional, it doesn’t have to be so much work to live in a farmhouse! Here is a charming house that is 5 minutes from here. Its so nice when the words jacuzzi and farmhouse are found on the same page! This one is all set to go, and at only $255,000. We had actually looked at this house – probably 11 years ago now, and it did not look like this then!
