A Sense of Family Outside of your Immediate One: God, Angels…Family. Forget-Me-Not Flower Essence

forget me not flower essence
Forget-Me-Not is pictured here in the making earlier this week.

It is an important essence to consider following the initial stage of grief after the death of a loved one, and can be very helpful for those who have never fully resolved their feelings of isolation and abandonment following the loss of an important family member or friend during childhood.

Forget-Me-Not can also be used by expectant parents who wish to establish a conscious link with the soul seeking to be incarnated through them.

Forget-Me-Not can be beneficial when one wishes to understand the deeper, karmic soul connection which inspires or challenges any current relationship. In all these instances, Forget Me Not guides us toward greater love for the human family, and deepens our understanding of how vast and deep it exists for us.

It is just as it says, “forget not” the helpers, guides, and spiritual beings. Forget not that every soul in your life is there for a reason. And know that souls don’t go far when they pass, that etheric existences are real. This flower essences helps establish and re-establish this knowing and ability to sense a larger human family.

All Is Well! Please Welcome New Artist Laura Koniver, MD

all is well
Today we are expecting an unusual 90+ day, the sun is shining, there is a nice breeze. What will the day bring? Will I go into it with fear, with exhaustion, with a positive outlook? By believing the dreary news? What am I expecting? When All is Well, we expect the best. And when we expect the best, that is what we receive.

Laura’s prints remind us All is Well… did you forget? It can be easy to forget living in a chaotic world environment. This wonderful brightly colored print helps to consciously invoke the positive. All IS well. Even the blessings in disguise. Say it to yourself every morning, every evening. This would be beautiful in a doctor’s office or in an entry way to a home where you can invoke positive energy.

A great feng shui print for your earth corner or your mentor corner!

Here is another fantastic blue moon creation of Laura’s, great for your feng shui water corner or for a moon altar.

Welcome Laura, and thank you for bringing your positive light to the garden plum gallery!

Kingfisher: Symbol of Peace, Abundance & Love

kingfisher by susan seddon boulet

Here is one of Susan Seddon Boulet’s mystical paintings of the KingFisher, one of her cards in her deck Animal Spirits Knowledge Cards.

The kingfisher is named for both its dark crest, which suggests royalty, and its skill in hunting fish. Unlike other birds, the female of the species is more colorful than the male.

In Greek mythology, the bird is the reincarnation of Halcyone and her husband Ceyx. Halcyone threw herself into the sea after discovering the drowned body of Ceyx. Her devotion impressed the gods, who then transformed the couple into two kingfishers. In further tribute, the gods also made the seas calm and the weather fair for the seven days both preceding and following the shortest day of the year— the so-called halcyon days. The female bird’s colorful appearance is thought to reflect Halcyone’s unmatched love for her husband. The kingfisher is commonly associated with peace and the promise of good fortune. In the painting, Jupiter, the planet of abundance, appears as a reminder of that promise.

Trillium Flower Essence, Do You Want to Steal Me?

trillium flower essence
Here we are going to discuss one of the “heavy hitters” of flower remedies—Trillium. Trillium is a very thought provoking flower essence. In a nutshell, it is for the power hungry person, but we have a very deep nutshell going on here. Trillium, at its most extreme level, can be used for those who steal things from others. Literally, it applies to a thief who would steal an object, or “steal power” from another. They makes themselves feel richer and more empowered because they have tricked somebody else. They have taken a shortcut, or so they are deceived.

On smaller, more subtle levels, do you know someone who would tell a white lie to get somebody to buy something? Somebody who feels good about gaining something utilizing some form of trickery? These are the sly foxes that Trillium speaks to.

On the most subtle of notes, do you know someone that does not feel their own self worth, and so when they truly and honestly deserve money, they feel as though it is unmerited? Such a person who cannot feel their own self worth can in fact be a Trillium personality. Until such a person can learn their own self worth and feel as though the pay they receive is a fair energy exchange for the work done, they will remain in this undeserving state and feel as though they are stealing, even when they are not!

Trillium is found in the forest, in shady areas. Trillium appears oddly and out of place, usually a single bloom in the middle of some trees. Its like a little jewelry sale sign stuck in the most natural of places. “Do you want to steal me?” Trillum shrills her sneaky test.

Trillium, for power hungry types, is not just about wanting material things, it is also about wanting power of all kinds outside of ones self. Objects of power can be material things, control, domination, money, importance. This flower essence works with the root chakra as survival mode issues are at play here. Related Flower Essences are Poison Oak, Tiger Lily, and Cherry Plum.

Bleeding Heart
bleeding heart
Have you seen the recent movie Twilight? The plot line is a young girl falls "helplessly in love" with a handsome young Vampire. They cannot live without each other. They die when they are not together. How dangerous for our young girls and boys! This is just the kind of infatuant co-dependent love we don’t need them to model after.

Violet

Some babies arrive extremely shy. Sometimes its just inherent in their nature, or it stems from a past life, or develops if we become afraid of people. Violet Flower Essence is for profoundly shy people who have a great inner warmth but don’t often get to share it due to fear. This is sometimes accompanied with cold body temperatures. If you know someone who is profoundly shy and as a result, suffers from social anxiety or teasing in school, Violet may be in order.
