When Someone Claims “Herbs Don’t Work”
I’ve had some questions lately about herbalism and wanted to share this video which talks about a rudimentary aspect of herbalism in all of its’ glory.
Reknowned herbalist Susun Weed explains how unique herbalism is, and that it works in a completely different way than western medicine and drugs. Intuition plays a large role in herbalism, as well as having relationships with plants. Its not just “give me a pill”.
She makes an excrutiatingly awesome point about carrots, and dosage – and how expecting an herbal supplement to work overnight is not the right approach to healing naturally. She asks “If you were told you need more carrots in your diet, would you go home and eat a half cup of them and say you’re done?”
Meanings of Sunday’s Full Moon

quoting Laura:
“It is quite interesting that there are so many 1’s there, but Sunday was actually a 5 which stands for constructive freedom.
Jan. 1+ 11 + 11(2009) = 23 (2 +3) = 5.
So here’s an excerpt of the basics in numerology of what a 5 stands for:
5 CONSTRUCTIVE FREEDOM.
There is a time for expansion, for dealing with change, unexpected happenings, adventure. This lesson usually gives a person an abundance of talents in every direction, the capability of accomplishing almost anything for which an opportunity is presented – and many opportunities are presented. With the freedom this abundance of talent and opportunity brings, life can be exciting. But the lesson is more difficult: the individual must learn the Constructive use of Freedom. The individual must not waste his many talents or misuse his ongoing opportunities; he must not get lost in solely physical desires – food, drugs, sex, alcohol. He must not
scatter his potential and end up with frustration.
HE MUST MAKE A MEANINGFUL EXISTENCE BY USING FREEDOM PRODUCITVELY.”
