With the recent scare in the U.S. regarding the pet food manufactured with rat poison in it, I was glad when I checked the list of recalls that the food I feed my kitties was not on the list. It made me feel very good about the product choices I had made. Now, two weeks later, my kitties are throwing up their choice wet food every chance they get. And they are also having trouble with the tail end of things. Oh boy, sometimes pets can be such high maintenace! The next morning I find more suprises waiting for me.

The kitty is clawing at my herb closet, she wants some catnip. “Not now kitty, the last thing you need is a kitty high!” I clean things up and the cat is still clawing at the closet.

“OH!” The herbalist in me awakens.

She wants the catnip for her upset tummy. I take a handful and put it in her dish. Both kitties are eating and rubbing and jumping around in it.

Three days later, no more throw up!
